Molten silver is dropped into water, capturing the organic, flowing curves of the metal mid-movement. The surface is then oxidised to deepen the texture, revealing every ripple and contour of the molten metal as it solidified. The interior of the cup glows with a pale, chalky white, a natural result of the jeweller's pickle used in the finishing process, creating a beautiful contrast against the darkened exterior.
